ROLE - CAMPUS STAFF (SEU)
HOMETOWN - Jacksonville, FL
Growing up in a Christian home, I knew a lot about Jesus. I could recite the gospel, had the Bible memorized, and faithfully served at church. But underneath it all, my faith had become defined by performance, perfection, and pride. I was striving to know enough, do enough, and be enough, while carrying a deeper desire to feel seen, known, and loved. Going to college exposed how much I was missing. During my sophomore year, I met Kristin, a Campus Outreach staff member who relentlessly pursued me and showed me what a real relationship with Jesus looked like. Through her life, I saw that the deeper connection I was searching for could only be found in Christ. I decided to surrender my life to Jesus, and everything changed. I realized that the freedom, love, and acceptance I had been striving for were freely given to me in Christ—not earned by what I did, but secured by what He had done for me. I became a new creation, and my perspective on life was transformed. God placed a deep burden on my heart for the lost on college campuses and a new purpose for my life: to pursue women the way Christ pursued me and help them know they are seen, known, and deeply loved by Him. That is why I now serve with Campus Outreach—to pursue the lost, make disciples, and invite college students into the relationship with Jesus that completely changed my life.
