ROLE - CAMPUS STAFF (UCF)

HOMETOWN - Norfolk, Ne

Growing up in a faithful household and attending church every Sunday helped me know a lot of things about Jesus, but I had never really met Him. In May 2024, I found myself among dozens of other college students at a three-week retreat, learning to study the Bible for the first time, and ultimately meeting Jesus in a real, authentic way. What used to be a life of indulging in sin six days a week and “checking the box” of going to church every Sunday, quickly became a life transformed by Jesus. I was no longer enslaved to idols of approval and comfort, but rather craved the community of believers and deeper understanding of Jesus through Scripture. As I witnessed others around me go from death to life, I realized that the Gospel is a gift not for keeping, but for joyfully giving to others. The remainder of my college years was spent engaging with younger women to help them understand the Gospel, and considering what could happen if I sacrifice my career to heed God’s calling. Through Campus Outreach, God brought me a new purpose and exposed me to the all-sufficient grace of Jesus. I am so excited to steward this gift at UCF and watch God transform the campus.
